Reader’s question: „The Debt card George has Sort code and account number?”

Answer

Dear Sir,

The Sort Code applies only to cards from the UK and Ireland, not to those issued by Romanian banks.

The BCR George card (pictured) and other cards issued by Romanian banks do not have this code.

The George card displays only the card number, not the IBAN of the account linked to the card.
